Simple stylish card

I know it has been like forever since I posted on here last, I actually stopped being a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! Around May time as I was so busy with my degree and work I didn't really have any spare time for crafting. This are finally starting to get into a routine so I can start and do what I love the most more often.

This card has been made using Blushing bride, Strawberry Slush and Whisper White card stock. The stamp set I used is Regarding Dahlias, and finally the 2 punches used were the 1 inch circle and the 1 1/4 inch Scalloped circle punch.

I started by stamping the flower all over the white card stock in Calypso Coral ink I then layered that onto some Strawberry Slush and then onto the card base (Blushing bride) I used the Hi sentiment from the same stamp set which I cut out with the circle punch and then used the scallop circle punch in blushing bride. I cut a strip of each of the pink card stocks to make the banner ends and attached them to the card with snail, I used the dimensional's to add the sentiment.

I'd like to link this up to the following challenges:

My Stamping New Year's Resolution!

Yes I do know we are almost 2 weeks into the new year but I have been having a think about what I want this year. My resolution is to stop holding myself back. This is not just relating to my stamping but to life in general. When it comes to my crafting I am going to stop holding myself back, I am going to just go for it and if it turns out a big mess then I will learn from it and move on to the next project.

I am sure this is going to be a resolution that will test me often but that is a good thing, only when we step out from our self built boundaries do we really learn and grow.

Here is to a year of learning, exploring, creating and achieving!

Happy New year!

Well my friends we are now into 2014! I hope it will be a wonderful year for you all.

I am hoping that this year will be a better one in my house too, there have been many ups and downs over the past couple of years and I'd like to think that we are over the worse and heading for a brighter future.

A big part of my life this is going to be Stampin' Up! Crafting is something I am passionate about and Stampin' Up! allows that passion to continue every time I pick up one of our products, it's a bit like an instant smile in a box. I will be trying to bring you all the latest information, tips, project tutorials and some fun too as we go through the year.

For those of you who are new to my blog (which will be most people as it's a new blog hehe) I have started to do youtube classes showing you how I make certain projects, I am big on anything that can save me time or money so some of my ideas may seem a little wacky, but it works for me.

I already run a monthly mystery hostess code each month which for this month is QNVXHXYC and would like to start running a stamp club later in the year, so if any of you are interested in that please drop me a mail and let me know. There will be a 6 month commitment where you will spend £25 a month and during one month out of the 6 you will receive £25 hostess rewards.

Another promotion that I am running is not connected to Stampin' Up! It's my own personal promo if you purchase from me this month you will be entered into a draw to with this stamp set. There is no minimum spend to be entered and each purchase will give you an entry.

So all that is now left is for me to share a couple of cards that I have made, they are in my latest youtube video too so just click on the link higher up to have a look.
