Congratulations

I'm finally getting chance to share with you some of the things I've made recently, rather than do one big post with them all I am going to schedule a few posts.

The first card I am sharing has been made with one of the brand new Sale-A-Bration stamp sets called Party Pants. I ordered the balloon punch to use with this set and I am really loving it!

The card has been made with
  • Very Vanilla card stock (106550)
  • Mint Macaron (138344)
  • Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (140557)
  • Balloon Bouquet Punch  (140609)
  • Mint Macaron Ink Pad (138326)
  • Party Pants Stamp set (141327 clear) (141324 wood)
Now if you wanted to recreate this card you could order the items above from here and qualify for the free Party Pants stamp set. Of course you could swap the colours  to be any colour you liked.

If you would like some more ideas using this stamp set then check out this video.

Perfect Picture

When I first saw this stamp set I totally fell I love with it. I could see so many possibilities and already I've used it so many times!

The card I've got to show you today is a little card using the flower and one of the sentiments.

These stamps have more than one stamp for each image allowing you to build up the colours and create a real depth on the image. I stamped the first stamp, which was the one with the most of the flower on, in Calypso Coral, then the next step stamp was stamped onto the top with Watermelon Wonder and the final stamp the smallest of the 3 was stamped on with Rose Red.

Once the flower had been stamped I fussy cut around it and put it to one side while I made up the card.

The card base was made from a piece of  7" (17.7cm) by 5" (12.7cm) Watermelon Wonder cardstock, on top of that is a piece of 4.7" (12cm) by 3.3" (8.4cm) Whisper White cardstock, on top of that is a 4" (10.16cm) by 3" (7.6) 2015-2017 In colour Designer Series paper in Watermelon Wonder.

The little banner I used to stamp on the sentiment was made from a little off cut of the whisper white and I used watermelon wonder to stamp it.

Everything has been attached to the card using Tombow multi-purpose glue apart from the flower which has been stuck on with a Stampin' Dimensionals.

I'm back!

After a break I am back as a Stampin' Up demonstrator. This is something I've been thinking about for a little while and I decided that now was the right time for me. Just like before I will be more than happy to talk to you about the Stampin' up! products and opportunities There will be online classes and video tutorials again too but for the most part I will just be sharing what I make with Stampin' Up! products.

Today I am going to share a card I have made for a very good friend of mine. The products I've used on this card are:
  • Picute Perfect Stamp set
  • Delightful Dijon Ink
  • Summer Starfruit Ink
  • Delightful Dijon Card
  • Whisper White card
  • Decorative Label punch

This stamp set is fantastic for building up depth on an image and I am sure I will be sharing many more pieces that are using it in the very near future.

Simple stylish card

I know it has been like forever since I posted on here last, I actually stopped being a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! Around May time as I was so busy with my degree and work I didn't really have any spare time for crafting. This are finally starting to get into a routine so I can start and do what I love the most more often.

This card has been made using Blushing bride, Strawberry Slush and Whisper White card stock. The stamp set I used is Regarding Dahlias, and finally the 2 punches used were the 1 inch circle and the 1 1/4 inch Scalloped circle punch.

I started by stamping the flower all over the white card stock in Calypso Coral ink I then layered that onto some Strawberry Slush and then onto the card base (Blushing bride) I used the Hi sentiment from the same stamp set which I cut out with the circle punch and then used the scallop circle punch in blushing bride. I cut a strip of each of the pink card stocks to make the banner ends and attached them to the card with snail, I used the dimensional's to add the sentiment.

I'd like to link this up to the following challenges:

My Stamping New Year's Resolution!

Yes I do know we are almost 2 weeks into the new year but I have been having a think about what I want this year. My resolution is to stop holding myself back. This is not just relating to my stamping but to life in general. When it comes to my crafting I am going to stop holding myself back, I am going to just go for it and if it turns out a big mess then I will learn from it and move on to the next project.

I am sure this is going to be a resolution that will test me often but that is a good thing, only when we step out from our self built boundaries do we really learn and grow.

Here is to a year of learning, exploring, creating and achieving!
